You don't know what you you've got til it's gone. And by this, I'm referring to the Summer ending and being replaced by the cold rain we've received today. However, this Summer had quite an exciting ending! Trevor and Heather tied the knot! My brothers getting married meant I got to travel to new places--so we were off to Minnesota for the wedding! Then back to Utah for another reception. Check out these pictures of the celebration:

hello again

Okay, this summer break has been long enough. You know your blogging skills are lacking when the last post is from about four months ago. So, I'll have to catch up a little bit on what's been going on lately. There's even pictures, if you don't want to take the time to read! Let's start back in April...

I went with Aaron to General Conference in Salt Lake for the first time ever. It was pretty great. Here's us at temple square.

We went to the Manti pageant, also really good.

We haven't quite mastered the art of taking pictures of ourselves.

Got to visit good ole Hockinson. Nothing much has changed, and I don't think I've missed much either, but it was fun! Plus we got to go wakeboarding.

And today, I went up to Salt Lake to buy a much needed bike. (Here's why.) And this is the bike I got, even though it was very difficult to find, and put in the trunk of the car.

That's a glimpse of some of the things I've been up to this summer. Hopefully I won't fall so far behind again!

R.I.P.

The Acura CL has definitely seen better days. Currently it is sitting in the parking lot and will plan on staying there for awhile now. Every time I drive it, it dies whenever I put the clutch in so I look like the dumb driver that stalls my car at every stoplight. It's kind of a bummer not having quick transportation, but a bike will do.

sometimes its just the thought that counts

For visiting teaching, Kristen and I decided to make chocolate chip cookies for our girls we visit. Unfortunately, one by one, they were all eaten before we got out the door. But it wasn't just us that ate them, so it's okay... I would call this one of the biggest visiting teaching fails. This is why I never make cookies--a lack of self control sometimes.

back to school

Classes today made me realize that Christmas break is over and it's time to get back to the grind! Here are some snapshots of what the Holiday was like.

This morning while I was straightening my hair, I found a white hair! I'd like to say it was blonde, but unfortunately it was as white as white gets. I blame either my recent 20th birthday or finals week. Just great, right? Well, maybe it's not too terrible...I guess Stacy London can pull off the white streak just fine!
